The Death penalty has been a part of society and its legal system for centuries; it became a necessary punishment to dangerous crimes and a way to liberate the community from dangerous criminals. However, now this type of punishment is seen as crime against humanistic values by many, and is questionable in the legal system. It has resulted in a range of inconsistency with the laws on this issue. Nations including China, the US, Iran, Belarus, and others keep the death penalty as an option, while others like Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and almost all European nations have put an to capital punishment. This paper will seeks to demonstrate that death penalty has been preserved as a valid means of preventing serious crimes.
